The Practical Pro Katana by Paul Chen has a fine polish unlike others in this series. Its blades are made of hand forged high carbon steel that has been differentially tempered in a traditional method of claying. With an extended tsuka and longer, thicker blade due to demand, the katana features a round Kuruma Tsuba representing the Wheel of Dharma - a Buddhist concept of the Noble Eightfold Path. With a deep Black Lacquer Saya that displays a Japanese Black Cotton Sageo, the fittings (or Koshirae) are finished in antiqued black iron. This Katana is double-pegged for safety and holds a Tsuka known for its gripping characteristics as it is wrapped in synthetic black leather. Durable and able to withstand the rigors of heavy cutting or tameshigiri, this Practical Pro Katana is an unlicensed reproduction of the Katana Morpheus used in the Matrix Reloaded movie. It will ship via UPS as an oversized item.
