The Paul Chen Practical Plus XL Katana has more traditional construction methods and fittings than the Practical XL Katana but is just as economical.  With a Black Iron Sunburst Tsuba and Black Speckled Finish Saya, this sword’s massibe blade geometry will blow others away. This Katana’s blades carry the strength, weight, geometry and profile for successful cuts. Featuring genuine Same Rayskin on the Tsuka with tightly-woven Cotton wrap (Tsuka-Ito), this sword’s blade is forged and differentially hardened with an HRC60 edge and an HRC40 back with a prominent hamon.  It also presents a double-pegged tang and differential heat treatment with a narrow edge angle.  To transport or store this katana, it includes a sword bag.
