The Paul Chen Practical Plus Elite Katana is a blade that has a blend of the features of the Classic Series and the Performance Series; combining the best of both series for enhanced performance at a reasonable price. With a long tang that is double pegged for security and a genuine same rayskin on the tsuka, this sword also has a prominent hamon. It features a handsome sunburst design on the iron Tsuka, it also has a brass Habaki. Made with more traditional construction and fittings, it is beautifully decorated with a Japanese dogwood motif with a dragon Menuki. The high carbon hand forged blade is differentially tempered with HRC60 edge and HRC40 back. The upgraded blade polish makes the details of the design stand out for a great look. There is also a sword bag included for storage and portability.
