Guardian warriors are the subjec t of this beautifully crafted Paul Chen Kami Katana that features a hand forged and folded K120C high carbon steel blade with 1,000 layers. Differentially tempered with a prominent hada and hamon and a long kissaki, this katana also has a dual habaki with copper inside and gold plated brass outside. With a hand engraved Fudo horimono that depicts a Kami warrior it also has a tsuka that is wrapped with the highest quality Japanese silk and genuine rayskin same. The koiguchi has a silver and gold crane decoration while the kojiri features a dragon accented with copper, silver and gold. An equisite red highly lacquered saya is embellished with a black ring carved section at the sageo or scabbard tie. The fuchi, koiguchi, kurigata, kashira, and kojiri are all made of blackened bronze with silver and gold accents. Steel forging on this blade makes it very tough with outstanding durability for a top quality katana that anyone will prize.
