Kit Carson’s M16® aluminum design becomes very popular which turned out to be a successful one. Using a textured Zytel ® scales instead of aluminum handle is another innovation.

We use the AUS 4 high carbon stainless steel for the blade; it offers a Razor- Sharp and Triple- Point™ Serrated edges. It features also the Carson Flipper edition that acts as a blade guard when the blade is open. The M16- 02Z and 12Z has a grind Tanto- style blades; while the M16- 03Z and 13Z are the slimmer designs with a spear point blade which are ideal to carry. And the Big Dogs, the M16- 04Z and 14Z offer larger dual grind Tanto- style blades.

The innovation of full size working knives suited for large hands and heavy duty tasks, patented* with Lake and Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS®). All designs have Teflon® bearings and removable Teflon® plated stainless steel clothing /gear clip.
