After Sgt. Major Kit Carson retired from the U.S. Army, he decided to be a Knifemaker. He began the business for his former colleague, the M16s®. It has an identical construction to the popular CRKT aluminum. It offers the same contoured handles of 6061 T6 aluminum, hard anodized in Olive Drab.

The black Teflon® plated stainless steel locking liners has a friction groove, and the blades are imprinted with Gary Paul Jonhston’s 1* (one- ask- to- risk) reminder logo.

The three models feature AUS 8 stainless steel blades with Combined Razor- Sharp and Triple- Point™ Serrated edges for edge retention and durability; while the black titanium nitride coating gives the superior corrosion resistance. It features the Carson Flipper’s, extension blade which acts as an additional blade guard.

The M16- 14M Big Dogs have an extra strong dual grind Tanto blade. The M16- 13M with a spear point blade. The M16- 12M Little Bulldog; with dual grind Tanto blade. This can open and close easily; as the result of Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot; and also incorporated the patented* Lake And Walkers Knife Safety (LAWKS®).

All models features a removable black Teflon® plated stainless steel clothing/gear clip. Germany’s Messer Magazine conducted an extensive comparison between six leading tactical folders. And because of the characteristics of this model, the Messer’s editors declared.
