The M16 Aluminum Series has a unique design requested by the military. It has a dual grind Tanto- style combination edge blade. The M16 feature Carson Flipper’s to be incorporated.

The blade frame and hardware are all non- reflective black. We also incorporated the patented® Lakes And Walkers Knife Safety (LAWKS®). The design offers the strength, rigid and safety of a fixed blade.

There are two sizes available: M16- 13SF Slim Profile, it has a 3.50” (8.9 cm) blade weighing only 3.5 oz (99 g). M16- 14SF Big Dog, it has a 3.875” (9.8 cm) blade weighing only 5.4 oz. (153 g).

The CRKT production aluminum frame SFs are based on Kit Carson’s M16 design. It has a contoured handles made of hard anodized 6061 T6 aluminum; stainless steel locking liners, AUS 8 stainless steel blades; for edge retention and durability. And for maximum corrosion resistance; they used the non- reflective black titanium nitride coating.

A Combined Razor- Sharp and Triple- Point™ Serrated edges. You can open and close this easily as the result of precision tolerance and Teflon® bearings. It comes with two stainless steel black Teflon® plated clothing/gear clips, extra screws and a Torx® tool.
