This is high quality swordsmanship at its finest. The remarkable Hanwei Tiger series features some of the most authentic replicas of some of the best Japanese pieces in history.

Marvel at the fine detailing and skilled craftsmanship of the elegant Tanto blade that is expertly folded using the traditional claying methods of the ancient Japanese masters. Its gleaming surface is detailed in a beautiful temper line (hamon) that features intricate an intricate grain pattern, evident of its tempered layering.

True to its Japanese origins, the sword is designed with a exquisite guard (tsuba) with "stalking tiger" design. Meanwhile the hilt is authentically wrapped in real ray skin and includes the classic ito and sageo cord decorations. Finally, the beautifully styled scabbard is finished in a gleaming black lacquer with brass inlaid bamboo leaf design.

This is a Japanese blade that takes note of all the elements, down to the quality craftsmanship of the blade collar to secure the sword in place. One for the collectors' books or just a great sword to own as a decorative piece with a little bit of history.

Great item I received within a short amount of time, it's extremely light (just my opinion) and it's a good way for cosplay since you can't bring steel to convention or any sort of place and it's good for it's price best you can probably find.
