Big Bear Pirate Faire – Soon to be here!

Mark your calendars! This weekend is the Big Bear Pirate Faire put on by the Big Bear Valley Renaissance Society, Inc. This will be the 4th annual event, located on the north shore on the lake!

There will be battle re-enactments including battles on the “New Pirate” beach, stage shows, food, vendors, and more! There is even an essay contest for kids (check the website for details).

All profits from the event go to the youth of the Valley for educational purposes. So you can be sure that while you are having fun, your enjoyment is helping someone else!

Silver Kingdom Renaissance Festival ’09

Prepare Thyself for Another Exciting Year at the Silver Kingdom Renaissance Festival!

Discover a world of fantasy and adventure at the Silver Kingdom Renaissance Festival this coming weekend! This will be the festival’s 4th annual fair.

This year’s story is of the Throne of Spring Rains where champions from the four thrones of the land gather in rivalry for the grand prize – a silver chalice which gives a year of riches and sustenance!

From merchants to music, drama, swordplay, food and drink, and more, the weekend will be fun-filled and exciting. You can participate in the Boffer Tournament!
