Jungle Weapons: An Essential Guide for Survival

When looking through some of our new products that recently came in, I started singing to myself “Run Through the Jungle…”

Although it may be a bit unwise to run through unknown territory, it might be a little less risky to have some sharp steel on your person while doing such a thing… We have several products that would compliment such a trudge, if ever faced with the daunting task of survival amidst the depths of the jungle. Extra Sturdy Jungle King Hunting Knife w/ Sheath 12” – Hunting with a machete isn’t always ideal… should you need to skin a wild boar for dinner, a hunting knife would be a much better option.
Stainless Steel Survival Knife 10 ½” – I wouldn’t recommend anyone step foot into the wilderness without a survival knife. This one comes with a multi-function blade, first aid kit, compass, sling shot, and a sheath so you don’t gouge a hole in your leg when you trip over the brush.

Legend of Zelda: New Items

Harry Potter – Gordic Gryffindor Sword

“Harry Potter, the boy who lived… come to die.” – Lord Voldemort, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Trailer

These chilling words coming from the mouth of Harry Potter’s arch nemesis, Voldemort, open up the action packed trailer for tonight’s midnight release, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Brace yourself for what looks like the battle of the century between Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) and “He Who Shall Remain Nameless.”

This latest film is the penultimate of the series, the finale coming out July 15, 2011 (and judging by the film’s title, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out). Part 1 of the “Epic Finale” Starts tonight! Of course you’ve probably already heard about this event and are stoked to catch a seat in the theater tomorrow night (maybe you are already waiting in line as I write this).

Robin Hood Sword

The legend of the man who stole from the rich to give to the poor meets yet another twist of the storyline in the most recent film about Robin Hood, the prince of thieves. In Ridley Scott’s bloody tale of the account of how Robin Longstride (Robin Hood as we know him) became a hero, he is not so much a nobleman like most other versions of the well-known story portray him to be and he doesn’t steal from the rich to give to the poor either.

In this story of how the hero became an outlaw, during the time of war, Robin Longstride is an archer in the army of King Richard Coeur de Lion. He is a libertarian and a rebel striving to overcome high taxes and the scheme of the government which take away liberties of his own people. After a long story and several intense battles, Robin defeats the dangerous Godfrey who hoped to open doors for the French to more easily overtake England. Robin then becomes a hero, which is an apparent threat to King John, who declares him an outlaw, thus the beginning of the legend we all know.

What it doesn’t have is much mushy stuff, so if you were hoping to see a drawn-out love story between Robin Hood and Maid Marion, you will be let down. This newest version of the epic story of the legendary Robin Hood puts its main emphasis on the story behind the “Prince of Thieves.” Although it features well-known characters we all know like Will Scarlett, Alan-a-Dale and Little John, Maid Mariam, Robin of Lockley, Walter in Nottingham, and King Richard the Lionheart, the backdrop of Robin Hood’s heroic story is the main aspect of this feature.
