You want to dress up like a pirate, aye? Set out on the high seas with one o’ these Pirate Swords this Halloween!
Need a little direction before beginning your voyage? To create a cool Pirate costume, follow this simple recipe!
1. Clothes: Grab a white button-up shirt or blouse (one with wide arms preferred) or a ruffly Victorian type and combine with a black or brown vest. A pair of beat up grey, black, or brown pants will do – maybe tear a hole or two in them so they look nicely worn out. The pants should either be snug or very loose. For the women, a long, black peasant skirt will do the trick.
2. Accessories: You will need tall black or brown boots, a bandana, a wide belt with large buckle or a sash, and gold hoop earrings.
3. Sword: The most important part of the pirate costume is the Pirate Sword. Some suggestions are:

Bleach – Aizen Sousuke’s Kyouka Suigetsu Wooden Sword

Aizen Sousuke, of the Anime manga series, Bleach, spent much of his time as a captain of the 5th Division. He is a prime example of a good guy gone bad in an ultimate attempt to gain power. He was seemingly kind and sympathetic, earning the love of his team and disguising his true colors. He was one of the few to suspect that the penalty for Rukia’s crimes were too harsh for what she had done and even went as far as confronting Gin Ichimaru about his plans. Although Aizen’s intentions appear to be good, they are really masking his true personality. Aizen set Rukia’s execution up so he could perfect his own experiments of creating the Visoreds (a Soul Reaper/Hollow hybrid). To make his evil intentions seem like even less of a possibility, he even faked his own death by using the illusionary power of his zanpakuto, Kyouka Suigetsu.
Kyoka Suigetsu looks like a simple katana in its sealed form. When it is activated with its command “shatter,” it can put anyone who sees it under its “perfect hypnosis.” Aizen can then make his victim see, hear, and feel whatever he wants. When Aizen faked his own death, he used these illusory properties on almost every lieutenant and captain in the Gotei 13 during a ceremonial release of his zanpakuto. He can also use illusions during combat to deceive his opponents. He can make a decoy of himself to distract his target and then step close enough to him while the victim focuses on the illusionary copy of Aizen, allowing Aizen to strike him down.
Our version of Aizen Sousuke’s Kyoka Suigetsu Wooden Sword is an all wood replica with a nylon cord wrapped handle and silver painted blade. It looks like a normal katana, just like the real version, but is safe enough for anyone to use!

Hand Forged Highlander Sword of the Dragon Katana

MacLeod is an immortal who can heal almost any wound inflicted upon him, with the exception to a wound to the throat. Because of this, he and other immortals tend to have substantial sword fights with one another while wielding huge and powerful swords!
About the Hand Forged Highlander Sword of the Dragon Katana:
This is an impressive replica of the katana wielded by Duncan MacLeod in the Highlander series, seasons 2 through 6. Duncan MacLeod is the main character in the series and is played by actor Adrian Paul.
Here you see what may possibly be one of the most accurate and economical Highlander Sword replicas of the original sword used in the series. This version of the sword was created by Masahiro Swords. It features a sharp, hand forged carbon steel blade with bo-hi groove. Its cast metal tsuba has a dragon design with gold finish while its composite grip is made to hold the appearance of carved ivory. It comes with a black lacquered wood scabbard and metal accents.

Chinese War Sword by Cold Steel

Pierce through flesh and bones with the Chinese War Sword by Cold Steel. This style of two handed sword is a mighty popular one and has been since the 1800’s by any needing to defend himself by his foes.
It has a 23.25 inch 1050 high carbon monotempered steel blade and a 14.5 inch cord wrapped grip. The blade has a beautiful polish. This sword is complete with an “S” shaped guard and steel ring pommel. This one also features a marvelous leather scabbard.
